3. Measuring principle of pulse radar level meter

The radar object antenna emits a narrow microwave pulse which is transmitted down through the antenna. Microwaves touch the surface of the measured medium and are reflected back to be received by the antenna system, which transmits the signal to an electronic circuit and automatically converts it into a target signal (because of the speed of microwave transmission, the time it takes for the electromagnetic wave to reach the target and be reflected back to the receiver is almost instantaneous).

The datum of measurement is: the bottom of the thread or the sealing surface of the flange.

Note: use the radar level timing, be sure to ensure that very high material level can not enter the measurement blind area.
